Each cabin at Camp Ursa is designed as a complete world — warm light, the sound of the forest, and the dark water of Johnson Pond just beyond the window.
The Lakeshore Lodge is Camp Ursa's most expansive offering. A four-bedroom, four-bathroom lodge with a cathedral great hall, a 60-foot stone fireplace, a chef's kitchen, a private sauna, and direct dock access to Johnson Pond. Designed for groups, family gatherings, or those who simply require the most space the forest can offer.
The Constellation Cottage is named for the Ursa Major formation visible directly above it on clear nights. A two-bedroom cottage with an open great room, a stone fireplace, and a wraparound deck with forest views on three sides. The master bedroom features a ceiling skylight so you can fall asleep under the stars without leaving your bed.
The Bear Den is a one-bedroom hideaway perched at the pond's edge. Designed for two, it features hand-hewn timber walls, a wood-burning stove, and a private deck where the water laps the stone shoreline. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame a living painting of the Catskill treeline. In the morning, a great blue heron often lands on your dock.
